A different native creature and their respective habitat can be found on each denomination. The size of the animal corresponds to the value of the bill, ranging from the great bison to the modest roadrunner. This reimagining aims to not only inspire national pride, but more importantly encourage environmental awareness and appreciation of America's other inhabitants.
